WelcomeOur cottages in Brittany are set in 2 acres of lawned gardens with a large heated swimming pool, only a 45 minute drive from the St Malo beaches. Situated in the heart of the countryside, in the peaceful hamlet of La Haute Mancelière, the cottages are part of a 17th century Breton longhouse which has been tastefully converted, retaining many of the traditional features, such as exposed beams and stone walls. | |||||||||||||

are decorated and furnished to a high standard and are fully equipped with everything
you would expect to find in your own home, even down to the free WIFI internet
access and UK satellite TV. The accommodation, grounds, facilities and the local
area combine together to make La Haute Mancelière an ideal holiday location for
families - we have many guests who return here who are testament to this. We offer the perfect place for you to explore the region or simply relax in the garden or around the 10m x 5m pool, which is fully enclosed and heated to 27°c, April - October. In the large 2 acre garden you can play badminton and football, or play boules on our 10m x 4m boules court. There is a play area for children with swings, a slide and a trampoline. We also have several bicycles which you are welcome to borrow to explore the local area. The property is in a superb location with many places of interest to visit, such as Mont St Michel, St Malo, Dinard and Dinan. It is only a 40 minute drive to the long sandy beaches of the beautiful Emerald coast. The nearest town, St Brice-en-Coglès, is only 4kms away. We are situated within easy reach of many French Channel ports and only 45 mins drive from Dinard and Rennes airports, both of which have low cost airline flights from the UK.
